Basilica di San Francesco: Unmissable for the fresco cycle "The Legend of the True Cross" by Piero della Francesca, one of the masterpieces of the Renaissance.
Cattedrale dei Santi Donato e Pietro (Duomo): Located at the top of the city, it houses stained glass windows by Guillaume de Marcillat and a fresco of the Magdalene, also by Piero della Francesca.
Fortezza Medicea: Located at the highest point in Arezzo, it offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city and the surrounding valley.
Casa Vasari: Giorgio Vasari's home, entirely frescoed by the artist himself, offers a unique insight into his life and works.
Pieve di Santa Maria: Famous for its façade with overlapping loggias and the polyptych by Pietro Lorenzetti

AREZZO ANTIQUES
THE MAGIC OF ANTIQUES IN AREZZO
The Arezzo Antiques Fair is the oldest and largest open-air event dedicated to antiques, modern antiques and vintage in Italy, active since 1968. It takes place every first Sunday of the month and the previous Saturday, transforming the historic center and Piazza Grande into a market with over 400 exhibitors.

HISTORICAL AREZZO
Giostra del Saracino
This is an ancient knightly competition with origins in the Middle Ages. It involves hitting a target, placed on the shield held by Buratto (a revolving automaton representing the "King of the Indies") on his left arm, with a spear thrust at the end of a fast-paced ride on horseback. A procession in historical costumes, with flag-wavers, passes through the historic center before entering the square.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Unique, original, distinctive, and ever more magical. This year's edition will be even more dazzling. From November 15th to December 28th, Arezzo will host the largest Tyrolean Village in Italy, with a packed program of events and attractions. The Christmas market, three huts offering tastings of traditional products, the Big Lights Show with projections on the buildings of Piazza Grande, the Chestnut Hut, Tyrolean sweets, and guided tours to discover Arezzo with the special "Christmas in Arezzo" packages.

THE 4 VALLEYS OF AREZZO
Le Quattro Valli surrounding Arezzo - il Casentino, la Val di Chiana, la Val Tiberina e il Valdarno - They offer a wealth of history, culture, and natural and architectural beauty. From the Casentinesi Forests National Park, a source of inspiration for Dante Alighieri, to the Castle of the Counts Guidi in Poppi, these valleys bear witness to a rich and varied past. Camaldoli, with its hermitage, and the village of Poppi are just a few of the places where history meets nature. Each valley has its own unique characteristics, from the artistic and historical heritage of Sansepolcro and Anghiari in the Tiber Valley, to the Casentino food and wine tradition, to the architectural wonders of the Valdarno, such as Sammezzano Castle. A journey through these valleys is an immersion in the most authentic and unspoiled Tuscany, rich in culinary traditions, works of art, and breathtaking landscapes that deserve to be explored.
